
Family Help Team Manager (CP Enquiry Team)

Birmingham Children'sTrust is seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Work Team Manager to joinour Family Help service in the Child Protection Enquiry Team. Responsibilities of the role:• Lead a team including Social Workers and Family Support Workers leading in S47 Inquiries.
• Provide operational leadership and set high standards of practice andcustomer care.
• Ensure delivery of child-centred services that comply with legal andstatutory guidance.
• Champion safeguarding and promote the welfare of children and young people.
• Drive performance and quality assurance through reflective supervision andevidence-based auditing.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to strengthen local servicedelivery.
• Embed the Trust's practice model, Connections Count, in everyday teampractice.
• Manage budgets effectively and ensure value for money.
What can we offer you?
• In addition to the salary offered, there is an incentive payment of £1,000
• Retention payment of up to £5,000 per annum, subject to tax and NI deductions- T&C's will apply.
• A generous annual leave package of 30 days annual leave, plus bank holidays,rising to 33 days after 5 years of service and 35 days after 10 years ofservice.

• Full reimbursement of your annual Social Work England registration fee

This is a hybrid role based in Birmingham so you must reside within a suitable commutable distance around Birmingham and have the correct right-to-work documents to work in the UK. Sadly, we do not support those who require sponsorship.
