Are you a passionate and experienced and ready to take the next step in your career? Birmingham Children’s Trust is seeking a committed Family Help Lead Practitioner to join our Family Help service and make a lasting impact on the lives of children and families across the city.

Every member of our team plays a vital role in achieving our shared goals. As a Early Help Lead Practitioner, you will:
  • You will require a NVQ level four or equivalent qualification for this role
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to support children and families
  • Work within a strengths-based, family-led practice model.
  • Provide timely responses aligned with local policies and priorities.
  • Support social care colleagues and contribute to child records.
  • Champion a specialist area (e.g. domestic abuse, mental health).
  • Lead workshops and offer guidance in your area of expertise.
  • Maintain high standards of practice in the Families Together space.
  • Collaborate with professionals and families to achieve Think Family outcomes.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development through supervision.
  • Share knowledge and support colleagues across disciplines.
