
EYFS Teacher

The post requires an enthusiastic teacher with excellent classroom skills. It provides the opportunity for a person with commitment to make a contribution to the life of the school. Recent experience or detailed knowledge of the teaching of the EYFS curriculum is required, along with a passion to work in this part of the school. The person appointed will have class responsibility for an EYFS class within the school.
The Governors would welcome applications from newly qualified teachers.
The school has a well-established induction programme and support is provided for newly appointed staff.
Candidates should indicate in their applications their views on:
- how the teaching of Maths and Literacy in Reception can be made interesting and relevant to children and can help to raise standards of attainment
- how teaching and learning can be structured to support pupils in their development as independent and enthusiastic learners
- teaching style and organisation of the indoor and outdoor classroom and how these impact on children's learning
- particular curriculum strengths and interests.

We are looking for you to have a detailed knowledge of the curriculum across the primary age, have high standards of communication and have the ability to work as part of a large team. As a member of our school, you would be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children and young people at our school.
You will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Successful primary teaching experience.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching and learning strategies.
- Excellent communication and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A passion for inspiring children and making a positive difference.

Salary range
- £31,650 - £49,084 per year
