We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Classroom Teacher to join our supportive EYFS team.
The Role
The Governing Body and Headteacher of St Werburgh's Catholic Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic and creative teacher who will work collaboratively within the EYFS team to deliver high-quality early years education. The successful candidate will contribute to a nurturing and inspiring learning environment that supports children in becoming confident, independent learners.
This role involves working closely with EYFS colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure every child receives the best possible start to their school journey.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, adult led and play-based learning experiences in line with the EYFS Framework.
Work as part of a collaborative EYFS team across Nursery, Foundation 1 and Foundation 2.
Support the Catholic ethos of the school through daily practice and positive role modelling.
Observe, assess, and track children's progress to ensure excellent outcomes for all learners.
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Build strong partnerships with parents and carers.
Contribute to the wider life of the school and parish community.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
Is a qualified teacher (EYTS/QTS) with experience or strong interest in Early Years.
Has a secure understanding of the EYFS curriculum, Strong Foundations in the First Years of School and child development.
Is committed to supporting and promoting the Catholic ethos of the school.
Works well as part of a team and values collaboration.
Is creative, reflective, and enthusiastic about early childhood education.
Has high expectations for all pupils and is dedicated to inclusion.
Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills.
