About the role
The role involves coordinating a team of committed support staff, including managing staff rotas and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You will liaise closely with parents and carers to ensure every family feels welcome, involved, and well informed. Excellent administrative and IT skills are essential, as you will be working confidently with our online systems to set up pupil sessions, manage attendance, and record incidents.
In addition, you will provide administrative support for the school’s wider enrichment programme. This will involve overseeing the programme of opportunities, coordinating activities, and producing the termly clubs brochure. You will also be responsible for coordinating pupil attendance at sports fixtures, music events, and performances, as well as supporting the organisation of a wide range of enrichment opportunities across the school. On a day-to-day basis, you will be the first point of contact for external clubs running on site, and work with the office team to ensure registers are accurate and pupils are present as expected.
Experience of working with children or a background in childcare would be helpful but is not essential, as strong administrative skills are the most important part of the role. Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to train) is a requirement.
