Experts at Hands Programme Lead
Lead system transformation. Shape inclusive futures. Deliver impact where it matters most.
Medway Council is seeking an exceptional, values-driven leader to take forward our Experts at Hand (EAH) Programme – a pivotal element of our SEND transformation. This is a rare opportunity to design and deliver a locality-based, multi-agency model that places specialist expertise at the point of need, supporting education settings to improve outcomes for children and young people, through earlier intervention and stronger inclusion.
As Programme Lead, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Experts at Hand model, ensuring it is successfully embedded across Medway. Working across education, health and local authority services, you will drive a preventative, intelligence-led approach aligned with Family Hubs, Early Help, and wider SEND reforms.
You will lead system-wide collaboration, influence senior partners and commissioners, and ensure the programme delivers measurable improvements in outcomes for children and families.
In return we will offer you:
- Generous annual leave entitlement
- Generous local government pension scheme package
- Access to wider training and development qualifications
- Flexible working scheme
- Travel plan discounts
- Access to CAREFIRST advice & counselling service
- Employee discount scheme for national and local retailers
