Knowsley Children’s Social Care is seeking to recruit an Experienced Practitioner to work within the fostering support and supervision of foster carers team. The successful candidate will undertake regular supervision, support, and unannounced visits to a variety of approved Foster Carers. This will include Mainstream Carers and Family and Friend’s Foster Carers.

You will need to be qualified and professionally registered as a social worker, have knowledge of current legislation and regulations, be able to demonstrate your experience and abilities in respect of working in partnership with children, young people, families and partner agencies and have an understanding of the Mockingbird programme which supports all cared for children and their foster carers.
