Experienced Social Worker

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Mental Health Social Worker within Adult Social Care and Health, (Approved Mental Health Professional qualification is desirable but not essential, you would be required to work towards achieving this qualification). You will be required to carry out assessments including risk assessments, mental capacity assessments, reviews, and reports to a high standard and demonstrate the ability to provide and plan appropriate interventions with individuals who have complex and noncomplex mental health, their families and carer’s. You will also require an understanding of the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, Care Act, including Making Safeguarding Personal, Human Rights Act and other associated legislation that underpins our practice. You will work in partnership with individuals, families, carers, Health and Housing professionals, and other associated professionals from internal and external organisations.
