    We are a centrally led administrative function which offers high quality business support across the organisation.

    We are seeking an exceptional Executive Support Officer working 3 x days a week (22 hours) fixed term post until 31st March 2026 working primarily Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the importance of being flexible is important.

    The role is office based with flexible home working arrangements based on business needs.

    Main Responsibilities

    We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Executive Support Officer with a 'can do' attitude to join the team.

    You will work closely with our Senior Leadership/Wider Leadership Teams, providing an exceptional level of support and regularly engage with other areas of the Council.

    Some of your responsibilities will include,

    • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Leadership Team/Wider Leadership Team.
    • Managing schedules, meetings and communications effectively
    • Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism
    • Minuting of internal and external meetings face to face and via Microsoft teams
    The Ideal Candidate

    We are looking for you to have,

    • Proven experience of support at a senior level
    • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • A 'can do' attitude to join the team
    • Experience in taking accurate action notes of meetings, some of these being in-house and multi-agency meetings.
    • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
