Job Description

Job Title: Executive Support Manager - Corporate/Members

Salary:£51,801 - £59,724 per annum

Grade G

Fixed Term Contract – 2 years

37 hours per week (hybrid working)

About the Role

As part of our Executive Support Team, you’ll play a key role in enabling effective leadership and decision-making. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading and developing a high-performing Executive Support Team
  • Overseeing strategic planning, resource management, and service delivery
  • Working closely with the Mayor and Cabinet Office to align political and corporate priorities
  • Driving continuous improvement in administrative processes and systems
  • Providing strategic cover for the Chief of Staff and contributing to cross-directorate initiatives

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Proven experience supporting senior leaders in a complex organisation
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication, judgement, and problem-solving abilities
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Experience working in a political or public sector environment is highly desirable
