Times/Patterns: Thursday 11:45-13:45

Salary:

Grade: Grade 7 (SCP 33)

Details:

This course helps learners improve their English language and employability skills to prepare for work, training, or further study. The course aims to build confidence in workplace communication and support learners in developing the skills needed to apply for and succeed in employment.

Learners will:

  • Improve speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
  • Develop workplace vocabulary and communication skills
  • Practise CV writing and job applications
  • Prepare for interviews and workplace situations
  • Build confidence for employment and further learning

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A recognised ESOL teaching qualification (such as CELTA, CertTESOL, or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching ESOL learners at Entry 3 level
  • Knowledge of employability skills and workplace communication
  • Experience supporting adult learners from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
