    Join the ERP Programme Team on an exciting transformational journey.

    We are inviting expressions of interest from experienced and enthusiastic HR and Payroll experts to play a pivotal role in the 18-month implementation plan for our new Enterprise Resource Planning Solution (ERP).

    This is a unique opportunity to shape a joined-up Finance, HR and Payroll system that helps ensure the tools we use every day truly work for us and end users across the authority. It’s also a chance for you to develop your strategic thinking and experience of change management within a supportive project team.

    We are recruiting to this vacancy for a fixed term contract of an initial 18 month period and are looking for individuals who can bring their knowledge and experience of HR and Payroll.

    Main Responsibilities

    As a key member of the programme team you will:

    • Ensure that business processes are mapped and reflect the needs of the business.
    • Analyse data to inform the ERP system design, identifying improvements to current processes.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that we are ready for the system design phase of the programme.
    • Compile data and insight from multiple sources.
    • Cleanse and improve data quality across our existing solutions
    • Attend and contribute to workshops mapping future requirements for the system design.
    • Manage communication between the project and key business users.
    The Ideal Candidate

    You’ll

    • have a sound understanding of working with various data sources.
    • have experience of using tools to produce process maps.
    • have the ability to translate policies and procedures into system and process improvements
    • have good communication skills
    • be confident in working with a range of people and in presenting information to different audiences
    • be organised and calm under pressure.
    • be interested in systems and change.

    There will be a requirement for a significant amount of office based working to support configuration and training throughout the project.

    Closing date – 1st March 2026 - if we receive a large number of applications we may close applications sooner than this date.

    Interviews will be held week beginning 2nd March 2026

    Will be required to start in March/April 2026.

    Salary range
