Dacorum Borough Council is currently recruiting Environmental Operative - Splash Park Wardens to work at the exciting Gadebridge Splash Park in Hemel Hempstead.

The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the effective day-to-day operation of the facilities in Gadebridge Park as well as overseeing public safety. The role involves water quality testing, carrying out regular daily duties such as cleaning, grass cutting, litter picking, dealing with customer enquiries and ensuring a high standard of public service is provided at all times.

You must be qualified in First Aid or have a willingness to achieve this qualification. Ideally you will also hold a Pool Plantroom operator qualification, but this is not essential as full training will be given.

You must be able to work as part of a team and on a shift rota basis, which may include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

During the off peak season, you will be required to undertake the general duties of an Environmental Operative – Team Leader (equivalent to band 7) on a Monday to Friday shift pattern.

Applicants must have a driving licence that is valid in the UK.

An Enhanced check will be undertaken with the Disclosure and Barring Service to ensure that the successful candidate has no relevant convictions.
