About the Role
This position offers a 27‑hour working week on a 12‑month rolling rota, providing a balance of structured and flexible working days.
Your working pattern will include:
- Every other weekend: Saturday and Sunday, 9am–6pm, plus one flexible weekday.
- Non‑weekend weeks: Three flexible working days between Monday and Friday.
This role plays a key part in delivering our daytime out‑of‑hours service, responding to a range of environmental issues such as:
- Noise nuisance
- Unauthorised traveller encampments
- Untaxed or abandoned vehicles
- Nuisance car sales on the public highway
You’ll be empowered to take formal action where necessary, using the full range of legal powers available.This may include serving notices, issuing fixed penalties, preparing prosecution files, and attending court to present evidence.

- Able to make sound decisions
- Keen to work independently and as part of a supportive team
- A full UK manual driving licence is essential for this role.

- £20,868 - £25,127 per year
