    • Champion high-quality transition planning focused on employment, independent living, good health, and community inclusion.
    • Oversee a team of EHCP professionals working with post-14 learners and manage service performance across PfA pathways.
    • Drive service improvement through co-production, quality assurance, and multi-agency collaboration.
    • Represent the SEND service at local, regional and national forums, and contribute to inspection readiness (e.g. Ofsted/CQC).
    • Work closely with adult social care, education providers, health colleagues and employment services to embed joined-up working and deliver improved PfA outcomes.

We are seeking someone who is:

    • A strong leader, with experience managing SEND or EHCP services at a senior level.
    • Confident in delivering strategic plans and leading service transformation.
    • Knowledgeable about SEND legislation, particularly the SEND Code of Practice and the Children and Families Act 2014.
    • Skilled in building and managing partnerships across education, health, and care.
    • Passionate about inclusion, co-production with young people, parents, carers and service partners, to improve long-term outcomes for young people with SEND.

    What We Offer:

    • A leadership role with significant strategic impact
    • Supportive, flexible, and collaborative working culture
    • Professional development opportunities and CPD
    • Local government pension scheme and generous annual leave
    • The opportunity to shape how young people move into adulthood with ambition and dignity
