This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

    About the Role:

As an EHCP Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality support to children and young people with SEND through effective case management of statutory EHCP processes.

    You will:

    • Coordinate and manage a caseload of EHCPs in compliance with the Children and Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice.
    • Work closely with parents, schools, health and social care professionals to ensure EHCPs are person-centred and outcome-focused.
    • Lead Annual Review processes, ensuring timely decisions and clear communication with families and settings.
    • Contribute to service improvements and work as part of a collaborative, supportive team.

We’re looking for individuals who are:

    • Organised and resilient, with excellent time management skills.
    • Empathetic and confident communicators, able to build strong relationships with families and professionals.
    • Experienced in SEND, education, health or social care settings (local authority experience is an advantage but not essential).
    • Knowledgeable about EHCP processes, or willing to learn with support and training.

Whether you’re already working in SEND or looking to step into a meaningful, rewarding role, we welcome applications from a range of professional backgrounds who have a range of SEND experience.

    We Offer:

    • A supportive and inclusive team culture
    • Hybrid working arrangements
    • Local government pension scheme
    • Ongoing professional development and training
    • The chance to help shape the future of SEND support in our area
