Role: Education Support Worker

Salary: Grade 7 – SCP 18 – SCP 23 £30,559 - £33,366 (FTE) £26,367 - £28789 (actual salary)

Contract type: Permanent, full-time, term-time plus one week

Reporting to: Achievement Lead

Start date: 1st September 2025

About the Role

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Education Support Worker, responsible for all elements of pastoral care, to support Excellence in Learning.

Responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Supporting excellent attitudes to learning across the school
  • Effectively engaging with families in our school community
  • Supporting student attendance at school
  • Assisting with safeguarding our students

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is suitably experienced, looking for their next challenge, within an ambitious, motivated and supportive learning community. You will be highly organised, personable and dedicated to support the futures of all young people. The post holder will also be required to have excellent communication skills enabling them to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and families.
