Pay Band D / SCP 5-6

£25,583 - £25,989 pro-rata

27.5 hours per week. 46 weeks per year (term time only)

Permanent. To commence on 13th April 2026.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Level 2 EARLY YEARS Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting very young learners in their early educational journey.

The successful candidate will:

  • Work collaboratively as part of a highly motivated and supportive team.
  • Demonstrate compassion and sensitivity in supporting the social and emotional development of our youngest children.
  • Use a range of targeted intervention strategies and lead intervention groups, such as Phonics, to support pupil progress.
  • Monitor and evaluate pupil progress regularly and work closely with the class teacher to inform and adapt future planning.
  • Promote and facilitate outdoor learning and continuous provision, ensuring a stimulating and enriching learning environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to promote best practises in a professional and positive manner.
  • Possess excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Have the skills and experience to effectively support pupils in their learning.
  • Exhibit outstanding organisational skills.

The successful candidate must be highly committed, flexible, enthusiastic, patient and show great initiative. In addition, be willing and able to make a caring and positive contribution to the class and school. They will be joining a friendly and highly committed team within a happy and successful school.
