Hours per week: Monday to Friday 30 hours per week

Please note: - There are a total of 15 vacancies across the Nurseries
- Agar, Langtry, Regents Park and 1A Nursery is a service for children aged 2 to 4 years old.
- Applicants to specify which location they are applying for
- As this is a term time only role you will work a 39 week year as opposed to a 52 week year. This means you’ll receive time off during the school holidays (October, February, May, half term, Christmas, Easter and 6 weeks in the summer).

What You’ll Be Doing / How You’ll Be Involved
We have various exciting opportunities for Early Years Practitioners to join our well-established teams. The successful candidate will play an active role in the promotion and development of an integrated education and day care service that offers high quality services for children aged 0 to 5 years contributing to the programme of care and education for 0- to 5-year-olds across the centre. One of the main objectives for the post holder is to assist with the planning, implementation and evaluation of a high-quality early years curriculum which includes a full commitment to anti-discriminatory practice and inclusion of children with additional needs. This will include daily, weekly and termly planning to meet children's needs and interests.
All About You
To be considered for this vacancy the successful candidate may be newly qualified in Early Years education and/or childcare or demonstrate a willingness to undertake training to develop in post. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar post or setting. You will have an interest in the overall development of children aged from birth to 5 years and an awareness of the need to provide a stimulating environment alongside an awareness of child protection systems and recognise the importance of being alert to possible difficulties.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS. Please note Camden also offers the DBS update service.
