We are recruiting an Early Years Hub Officer at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 37 Hours (7.24 Monday – Friday)
Contract Type: Full Time, Fixed term until 31st March 2026
Location: Parc Y Felin Integrated Childrens Centre

Are you passionate about supporting families and professionals in the Early Years sector?

We’re looking for a proactive and organised individual to join our Early Years Hub team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality information, advice and support to members of the public and processing Flying Start and Childcare Offer applications.

The postholder will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Early Years and Childcare Team to ensure consistent service delivery to make a real difference in the lives of children and families.

There will also be oopportunities for professional development and training.

For the role, we ask that you have:

  • A Relevant Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. For example NVQ Level 3 in Education, Health, IT or Business.
  • Working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and the ability to learn new ICT systems quickly.
  • Ability to work in an appropriate, sensitive manner maintaining confidentiality and impartiality.
  • Demonstrate commitment to all aspects of equal opportunities in terms of employment and service delivery.
