Charnwood Borough Council in Leicestershire is searching for the latest member of the Void and Decants Team.

We are looking for two passionate individuals who are customer focused, team players and want to help improve our local communities in Charnwood.

The Council is recruiting for 2 x Driver/Labourers. This will initially be a 6 month fixed term contract, with the intention to extend.

You will be joining our empty homes (Voids) team and helping us to turn around empty properties quickly and at a high standard to be available for our residents to move into quickly. Successful candidates will be trained to operate gutter cleaning equipment, carry out water management tasks, undertake basic cleaning and clearance duties and assist the Team Leaders with daily tasks such as keysafe removals, dropping off and collecting keys and topping up energy meters. You will be required to assist the builders from time to time with general labouring duties.
