
Disrepair Officer

Role & Responsibilities Will include but are not limited to:
- Checking and reviewing initial claim information.
- Taking initial information over telephone
- Sending files and reviewing expert reports
- Identifying and processing files to be rejected.
- Dealing with routine post, emails and telephone calls.
- Liaising with surveyors and any other experts.
- Dealing promptly with telephone enquiries from residents, leaseholders and others.
- Assisting other team members as necessary, including various elements of file handling
- To carry out such other duties as might reasonably be requested by others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and be adept at dealing with electronic case management and filing systems.
- Excellent time management skills and will be comfortable working under time constraints, with the ability to work accurately and to meet deadlines.
- Excellent research skills, interpersonal skills and be mindful of the need for high levels of discretion when dealing with confidential matters.
- Good attention to detail and a strong ability to prioritise work.
- An understanding of the importance of care and maintaining good relations.
- An ability to work well within a team.
This role requires a minimum of 3 days per week office-based presence to support collaboration, oversight and engagement.

Salary range
- £42,060 - £43,680 per year
