We’re looking for a forward-thinking and results-driven DFG Project Manager to lead a vital transformation project within the award-winning Lightbulb programme.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver a new, streamlined approach to Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) delivery across Leicestershire. You’ll be at the forefront of designing, coordinating and embedding changes that ensure services are person-centred, preventative, and responsive to the needs of our most vulnerable residents.

As DFG Project Manager, you will:

    • Lead the review and redesign of DFG delivery processes across multiple councils and partner organisations.
    • Develop and manage a robust project plan, producing reports, presenting to stakeholders, and engaging partners throughout.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to improve integration and reduce duplication and delays.
    • Gather feedback from service users and communities to shape a new, more efficient and accessible customer journey.
    • Monitor risk, maintain delivery schedules and ensure the project meets Lightbulb’s vision for health and housing integration.

We are looking for someone who:

    • Has experience in managing multi-agency projects that support residents or improve public service delivery.
    • Possesses strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Can confidently lead change and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.
    • Is highly analytical, detail-focused, and driven by continuous improvement.
    • Can work independently and bring fresh ideas to complex service challenges.

A knowledge of social care, housing adaptations, or supporting vulnerable residents is advantageous, but not essential.
