We are looking to appoint a Design Technology Technician who is familiar with supporting the use of a range of both traditional machinery and new technologies used in modern design technology work.
The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the Subject leader for Design Technology to support the preparation of materials for classroom projects and work within the classroom environment, supporting the delivery of the curriculum. They will be expected to respond to questions and assist pupils to undertake set activities.
A key part of the role will be ensuring the safe use of tools and equipment by students and staff and maintaining health and safety procedures and compliance records.
