School Context

Redgate Community Primary School is a vibrant and inclusive one-form entry school at the heart of Formby. Our provision includes nursery from age 2 (‘Little Squirrels’) and our highly regarded 42-place specialist SEND unit, The Pines, which supports pupils with complex needs.

Following the successful appointment of our new Headteacher, this is a particularly exciting and ambitious time for Redgate. As we move into the next phase of our development, we are strengthening our leadership structure to build capacity, sharpen our strategic focus, and continue to deliver exceptional outcomes for all pupils.

We are seeking to appoint two dynamic, forward-thinking Deputy Headteachers who share our passion for excellence, inclusion, and continuous improvement:

  • Deputy Headteacher – Achievement and Curriculum
  • Deputy Headteacher – Inclusion, SEND and The Pines SEND Complex Needs Unit

These roles offer a unique opportunity to shape the future direction of the school, working in close partnership with the Headteacher to drive high-quality education, champion inclusion, and ensure every child thrives.

Salary range

  • £62,763 - £69,252 per year
