Debt Recovery Officer - Cash Receipting

An opportunity has arisen to join our Accounts Receivable team, helping Staffordshire to face the issues currently challenging local government.

Our Accounts Receivable team provides a range of services with the aim of achieving the efficient and effective collection of income and the enablement of good financial management.

You'll be:

• Ensuring all monies received are accounted for in a timely and efficient manner.
• Dealing with internal and external queries.
• Posting manual lodgements, adjustments and general ledger journals.

You'll have:

• experience of working in a financial function.
• be effective in your use of spreadsheets and capable of retrieving and manipulating information
• the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues across disciplines and to work flexibly and creatively to meet changing priorities.

Interviews will be held week commencing 13th April 2026
