Job Description

Overview

The London Borough of Harrow is seeking a Data and Performance Analyst to play a pivotal role in supporting the strategic aims of the Housing Department. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality data analytics, performance monitoring, and actionable insights that inform decision-making and drive service improvement. The role involves close collaboration with senior leaders, contributing to statutory compliance and enhancing operational outcomes. Acting as a strategic partner, the postholder will also provide leadership continuity by deputising for the Housing Project Manager when required, ensuring the smooth delivery of complex programmes and maintaining assurance across key initiatives.


About You

The successful candidate wil have:

  • To demonstrate excellent knowledge of technical solutions and their application to solving business problems.
  • Considerable experience of project management, including problem solving, demonstrating initiative and initiating improvements.
  • Skills to manage the process of monitoring and reporting project and programme information, ensuring that the senior stakeholders have accurate and timely management information.
  • Experience in reporting to the appropriate internal Council bodies on the progress of projects and progress towards the targets specified in the annual service plan. These will include Management Teams, DMT and CLG.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Ability to oversee confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and ensure all tasks are met within deadlines.
  • Ability to support, mentor and allocate project tasks to members of the team, while monitoring to ensure project outcomes are delivered at a high standard
