Data and Insight Analyst

Southwark Council is strengthening its ability to use data to understand complex issues, improve services and support better decision making. The Data, Performance and Insight team, within Strategy, Insight and Performance, provides analysis and performance reporting that informs strategic planning and service improvement across the council. We are looking for a Data & Insight Analyst to support analytical work across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role you will: • Analyse data to support service improvement and policy development. • Produce reports, dashboards and visualisations that communicate key insights. • Support the development of the council’s data infrastructure and analytical tools. • Work with services to understand analytical requirements. • Contribute to corporate reporting and insight products.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who has: • Experience analysing and interpreting data. • Familiarity with analytical tools and data visualisation. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • The ability to communicate findings clearly. • An interest in using data to improve public services.
