About the team
Hertfordshire Equipment Service (HES) team is a multidisciplinary group dedicated to delivering high-quality community equipment services across Hertfordshire
The Data Analyst role sits within the Business team and reports to the Senior Data Analyst. You will be expected to manipulate data to provide monthly internal and external reporting packs.
You will be working closely with managers and external partners, reviewing and manipulating data to assist in making decisions for implementing changes across the service and individual teams.
The role will also provide additional support to the business team to provide resilience across the team. The business team is structured to support all teams across HES ensuring compliance, procurement and adherence to Health and Safety policies and procedures
About the role
This role is a dual role providing reporting as the Data Analyst and also providing Business Support across all teams within HES
Data Analyst
- To analyse, manipulate and interpret operational and performance data using ELMS and other tools to support HES service delivery
- To provide monthly reporting to internal and external stakeholders
- To provide support on all Hertfordshire Equipment Service projects
- To monitor and process financial information, including budget information to be provided to senior management
- To track and report weekly KPIs
- To contribute to continuous service improvement across HES projects and operations
- To undertake service performance modelling / analyse activity to identify opportunities for service improvement and provide constructive feedback on key findings for implementation of improvements to aid service performance.
Business Support
- Being responsible for all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across HES
- Being responsible for Risk Assessments across HES
- Additional support for Month End reconciliation of purchases
About you
Essential
- Applicants must be proficient in Excel at Intermediate level
- Proven ability to extract and manipulate date
- Ability to present data to a wide audience including internal and external stakeholders
- Pro- active approach and the drive to ensure that work carried out is to the highest standard
- Experience using Microsoft packages is essential
Desirable
- Ability to develop solutions and promote a solution focused approach
