Customer Transformation Officer

Salary: £35,162

Can you improve our customer journey?

At Sevenoaks, the customer experience is at the heart of all we do, and you’ll seek to make a positive impact to this through digital transformation.

You’ll work in conjunction with our IT & Customer Solutions teams to develop and support online forms and case management systems using a low-code platform and integrate with other systems. Working in an Agile way, you’ll engage with staff and stakeholders to develop requirements documentation, map processes and deliver projects.

If you have experience of a customer focused role, then you’ll know how important communication is and you’ll be comfortable establishing and maintaining good working relationships and effective communication with service managers, staff, stakeholders and customers throughout the projects.

So, if you share our passion for improving the customer journey then we would love to hear from you and how you can enhance a customer’s experience.

Full Low-code training will be given for this role, therefore previous technical experience is not essential. Candidates who can demonstrate a systematic approach to problem solving, and can visualise a process flow identifying improvements, would be ideal.

This role will be based at our Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1HG. We currently operate a hybrid working model for the majority of our roles where your working time will be divided between the office (2-3 days) and home working (2-3 days).

What’s in it for you?

You’ll be part of a supportive and innovative team offering a digital service to our customers. This is an opportunity to continually develop and improve your skills whilst contributing to delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Other benefits include:

• Enhanced annual leave of 28 days (excluding bank holidays)

• Additional leave after 5 years of service

• Extra Christmas closure day

• Hybrid working

• Generous Local Government Pension Scheme

• Opportunities to join in with social activities

• Free parking

• Employee benefits including discounts on shopping, travel and days out

• Tusker car salary sacrifice scheme

• Access to BUPA Employee Assistance Programme (24/7 wellbeing support)

Read the Job Description and Personal Specification attached to the role and ensure that your supporting statement explains how you meet the essential requirements as your application will be judged against these criteria.

Closing date: Sunday 5 July
