    Customer Services Adviser

    20.5 hours/week (Monday, Tuesday & Friday)

    8 Months Fixed Term Contract

    £14,628 - £15,592 per annum

    We’re looking for a friendly, professional and motivated Customer Services Advisor who has experience working in a Contact Centre environment to join our dedicated team at Mansfield District Council.

    As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in helping people access the services and provide support, whether that is through the digital services or signposting to the relevant departments. You will provide excellent customer service via telephone, email and face-to-face contact, whilst handling a wide range of enquiries in a helpful, empathetic and profressional manner.

    • A genuine passion for helping people and delivering outstanding service
    • Strong communication skills and a confident, polite telephone manner
    • Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
    • The ability to stay calm under pressure and handle difficult conversations with empathy
