
Customer Service Centre Advisor
We are recruiting a Customer Services Centre Advisor at Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Working hours: 37 hours
Contract Type: Fixed Term for 12 months
Location: Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements.
Team: Service Improvement and Partnerships

We pay an attractive salary of £27,694 - £29,064 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our busy Contact Centre Team as a Customer Service Centre Advisor.
You will be the first point of contact for residents, handling a variety of enquiries across phone, email and digital channels.
The role involves providing accurate information, resolving issues efficiently and delivering a consistently high-quality customer experience.
You will work closely with service areas, including Housing Repairs, to ensure enquiries are managed effectively.
Strong communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.

For the role, we ask that you have:
- A relevant Level 2 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales – for example, GCSE’s Grade A* - C, NVQ Level 2 in Customer Services.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working in a customer service or call centre environment.
