Crosby High School, a 175 place school for pupils age 11-16, with moderate learning difficulties to complex learning difficulties is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and well-qualified Cover Supervisor to join our highly effective team from October 2025, to provide cover for teachers in the event of short -term absences from school. This role will require you to deliver lessons using resources provided by the teacher, and support students to complete the work to the best of their ability. As a valued member of staff, you will be able to provide the consistency and continuity that our students require.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be committed to working with children with SEND needs.
• Be dedicated to the welfare, safeguarding and achievements of every child.
• Be highly organised and flexible to produce daily cover for the whole school.
• Be committed to working within a team promoting exciting and creative learning.
• Be able to inspire, challenge and motivate all students and lead by example
• Be creative, innovative and have a passion for school improvement
• Have a passion for developing children’s interests and children’s learning
• Have an understanding of dealing with challenging behaviour
• Have had involvement in recording, developing, analysing and tracking
  pupil progress

Salary: Grade F
