About the Role:
As Corporate Support Team Leader, you will:
- Lead and manage the Corporate Management Team Support staff, providing high-level personal support to the Chief Executive and senior leaders.
- Act as Deputy to the manager, supporting compliance with UK GDPR, Freedom of Information, and records management.
- Oversee diary and email management, meeting support, travel arrangements, and correspondence drafting.
- Develop and maintain systems for accurate recording, secure storage, and appropriate retention of council data and information.
- Manage team performance, conduct appraisals, identify training needs, and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Liaise with councillors, MPs, external partners, and internal teams, handling sensitive and confidential information with tact and diplomacy.
About You:
You will have:
- Experience providing executive support at a senior level within a complex organisation, ideally in local government.
- Line management experience, with a track record of motivating and developing staff.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- An understanding of information governance, data protection, and compliance requirements.

Salary range
- £34,434 - £37,280 per year
