About the Team

The role could be based at either Ilkeston or Long Eaton Town Hall and will require travel to other locations within Erewash Borough Council. Hybrid working is available with the expectation to attend the office two to three days each week.

The Ideal Candidate

You will bring a combination of strong technical skills, strategic thinking, and a collaborative approach:

  • Strong Project Management Skills – Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise work effectively across multiple projects
  • Strategic Mindset – Able to take a holistic view, understanding priorities, wider impacts, and organisational objectives
  • Independent and Collaborative Working – Comfortable managing projects independently while contributing to wider team delivery
  • Relevant Qualifications or Experience – PRINCE2 (or equivalent) qualification, or significant demonstrable project delivery experience
  • Business Analysis Expertise – Skilled in techniques such as process mapping (current and future state) with the ability to identify innovative improvement opportunities
  • Data Analysis Skills – Able to analyse data, interpret insights, and present findings clearly through reports and presentations
