The Role:
Ready to lead with impact? Liverpool City Council is on the lookout for a dynamic Corporate Debt Team Leader to drive excellence in debt recovery and customer service. This is your chance to lead a team of 20, champion innovation, and make a real difference to our residents and communities.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, inspire, and motivate your team to deliver results
- Take charge of Council Tax debt recovery
- Represent the Council at Magistrates Court and beyond
- Support residents with affordable payment solutions and signpost to benefits
- Drive continuous improvement and shape the future of our service
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in debt recovery and council tax/business rates processes
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- A-level education (or equivalent experience) with Maths & English GCSEs

Salary range
- £35,412 - £39,862 per year
