    The role:

    • Monitoring & Response: deliver monitoring services in a fast-paced control room environment, operating CCTV, alarm systems, radio, and electronic communications to support public safety and service objectives. Respond promptly to incidents, ensuring accurate logging and timely communication with internal and external partners
    • Operational Duties: work flexibly on a 24/7/365 shift rota, including weekends and Bank Holidays. Follow Standard Operating Procedures and corporate risk assessments, whether working independently or as part of a team. Maintain system integrity and security through adherence to legislation such as GDPR, RIPA, and internal protocols
    • Collaboration & Communication: Build strong relationships across City Watch departments and external agencies to support crime prevention initiatives, safe working practices, and council objectives. Provide clear and timely information to aid incident response and reporting
    • Legal & Administrative Support: prepare statements, attend court as a witness when required, and maintain accurate records using electronic systems. Support management with feedback and reporting, and assist with low-level queries and customer interactions
    • Knowledge & Development: maintain a working knowledge of Liverpool’s geography, transport network, and camera locations. Engage in ongoing training and development to ensure compliance with current procedures and legislation. Promote equality, diversity, and non-discriminatory practices in all aspects of work

    Please note: this post requires the post holder to work flexibly on a 24/7/365 shift rota, including weekends and bank holidays. Additional allowances and payments will be determined by rota.
