Salary: £32,490 - £36,870 per annum Grade D Permanent Contract 37 Hours per Week
The Housing Assets, Repairs & Compliance Team are seeking an exceptional individual to join us as Contract Support Officer. The team manage a range of contracts relating to housing repairs and maintenance including gas servicing, electrical testing, door entry, fire safety and disabled adaptations.

As a Contract Support Officer, you will have the opportunity to help shape the service as we continue to strive to ensure that our housing stock is in good condition and is compliant with the required regulations. You will be supporting the Contract Managers with a range of tasks relating to responsive repairs, planned maintenance and servicing for our housing stock.

You will need to be flexible and adaptable, with the ability to multi-task and a keen eye for detail. You will also need to be able to demonstrate working individually and as part of a team with excellent time management to ensure that key tasks are managed effectively. You will be expected to swiftly build working relationships with our partnering contractors with a view to ensuring that tasks are actioned seamlessly and accurately.

Main duties will include:

  • Monitoring all tasks related to servicing across various contracts, including gas servicing and electrical testing, to ensure that our properties remain compliant. This will include contact with residents and collaboration with our partnering contractors.
  • Taking the lead on all administrative tasks within disabled adaptations, ensuring agreed works orders are swiftly raised and monitored through to completion.
  • Attendance to contractual governance meetings where required.
  • Responding to residents queries in relation to repairs and planned maintenance.
