Job Description

Salary: £28,344 - £31,719 per annum Grade C Permanent Full time: 7 Hours per week (To include some Saturdays)


This position is vital in supporting the core functions of The Think Family Service by delivering supervised family time sessions, where children are ‘Looked After’ (CLA) by the Local Authority and family time between the child and family member/s is Court directed.

The role involves liaising with statutory allocated social work teams across all of Children Services departments and key stakeholders.

The contact supervisor will also be expected to support a range of parenting and family interventions and parenting assessments for children in Public Law Outline arrangements (PLO) or Court proceedings.

The Think Family approach means securing better outcomes for adults, children, and families by coordinating the support and delivery of services from all organisations. The aim is to enable families to make sustainable changes, create safe and meaningful opportunities for families to come together, and to reduce risks to children with the view of supporting plans for reunification.
