Connect to Work Project Administrator

We have an excellent opportunity available for a Connect to Work Project Administrator to join us here at Wokingham Borough Council, on a full time, permanent basis.

As the Connect to Work Project Administrator, you will provide essential support to the team leading on establishing and maintaining good governance systems for the Connect to Work Programme.

You’ll help prepare reports and presentations for stakeholder meetings, track actions, and identify opportunities to improve processes. You’ll also support data collection to ensure DWP monitoring requirements are met and work closely with Berkshire Prosperity Board to deliver consistent, impactful marketing and communications campaigns across Berkshire

This is a Berkshire-wide support programme, therefore the role will involve dynamic engagement with all six Local Authorities.

Connect to Work is a new employment programme forming a key strand of the Governments Get Britain Working plans, supporting people to find and keep work. Key responsibilities:

  • Providing support with meeting arrangement and the administration of the governance of the Connect to Work programme through the administration of stakeholder and partnership meetings
  • Support with the preparation of reports and presentations ahead of stakeholder meetings
  • Support the Programme Manager and team ensuing actions are tracked and identify areas for improvement in processes
  • Support with data collection and ensuring DWP monitoring requirements are delivered
  • Supporting with the preparation of marketing and comms campaigns to ensuring a consistent message across Berkshire

Candidate requirements:

  • Strong administration experience (ideally gained through working on government funded projects)
  • Co-ordinating and managing performance and stakeholder meetings
  • Strong IT and analytical skills
