    About the Role

Join Lambeth Council at an exciting time as we work with partners to make our borough safer and stronger. As a Community Safety (Safer Lambeth Partnership) Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the statutory governance body for community safety - the Safer Lambeth Partnership.

You’ll be responsible for organising and administering partnership boards and forums, ensuring meetings run smoothly and actions are delivered. This includes preparing agendas, coordinating participation, taking minutes, tracking action plans, and supporting data analysis to inform strategies that reduce crime and disorder.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in multi-agency governance and community safety strategy, working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to make a real difference to Lambeth’s communities.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
    • Proven experience in administration and governance support, ideally within a community safety or regulatory setting.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent organisational skills.
    • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Understanding of multi-agency problem-solving and community safety legislation (or willingness to develop this knowledge).
    • Why Join Us
    • Be part of a vibrant, diverse borough committed to equity, kindness, accountability, and ambition.
    • Flexible working arrangements and a supportive team environment.
    • Opportunities for professional development and exposure to strategic partnership work.
    • Competitive salary, generous pension scheme, and employee benefits.
