About the role
As our Community Safety Projects Officer, you’ll facilitate the delivery of the Council’s Community Safety priority projects through exploring funding opportunities, collaborative working with partners and ensuring project goals are met.
Working to achieve the priorities of the Community Safety Partnership this is a varied role where you’ll –
- Secure funding through grant applications from sources such as the Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner, Home Office, and Warwickshire County Council
- Collaborate and work with partners, businesses, and voluntary organisations to maximise project potential
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders and partners to ensure goals are met in time and on budget
- Monitor project progress to support against KPIs and identify potential risks and issues
- Prepare reports, manage documentation, and maintain project files
- Contribute to education, promotion, and publicity campaigns
About you
You’ll need experience in planning and managing projects with great problem-solving skills and the demonstrated ability to deal with challenges while working collaboratively with both internal and external partners.
The ability to work at pace, achieving project goals within financial and procurement guidelines to ensure cost control and value for money is also needed.
Alongside this, excellent numeracy skills with an ability to use appropriate mathematical and statistical techniques to analyse, interpret and present data and statistics.
Experience of working in Local Government or similar is desirable but not essential.
