This apprenticeship role is a fixed term contract for 24 months in line with the length of the apprenticeship training.
As a Community Safety Officer Apprentice, you’ll be part of a partnership approach, supporting real casework, contributing to local initiatives, and helping to respond to issues affecting communities across the city. You’ll gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced professionals and developing the skills needed to build a career in community safety.

You’ll be someone who is reliable, curious, and motivated, with good communication skills and a genuine interest in supporting others.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to develop professionally, gain practical experience, and play a meaningful role in helping to keep Coventry safe.

* The pre-interview is a short session to give the candidates further details of the apprenticeship role and to help them understand what to expect from and how to prepare for the final interview. You will also complete a short diagnostic assessment to check the level of Maths and English that they are currently working at and identify any support they may require.
