About the Role
This role will support in the development and delivery of the Community Safety Partnership Plan and initiatives to address crime, local anti-social behaviour issues (ASB) and hate related incidents ensuring a multi-agency response. To work as a member of a team managing your own case load and utilising a co-ordinated and pro-active approach towards investigating and preventing/reducing anti-social behaviour and disorder in line with present legislation. Be experienced in creating, researching and presenting policies, forward plans documents, executive reports, budget management, and applications for legal proceedings. This role requires an expertise in balancing priorities and expectations together with a knowledge of multi-agency collaborations between internal and external agencies, our local businesses and the voluntary sector which ensure that any risk is minimised and that all victims are safeguarded that is designed to improve the quality of life for residents and businesses across Surrey Heath.
About You
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- A thorough knowledge and operational understanding of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, The Crime and Disorder Act 1998 and the statutory guidance frameworks.
- Be experienced in creating, researching and presenting policies, forward plans, executive reports, budget management, and applications for legal proceedings.
- Be competent and knowledgeable to identify any risk and safeguarding issues relating to this role.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Experienced in dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information.
- Experience of working with a variety of stakeholders, colleagues, elected members and the public.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- You will need to have access to your own transport. A full UK driving licence is essential.
