Community Protection Officer – Selective Licensing

£27,711 - £32,654 per annum (pay award pending)

Mansfield is a great place to work. We offer fantastic benefits including a generous holiday entitlement of up to 37 days per year and access to the local government pension scheme.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, and self-motivated individual to join our Community Protection team and contribute to the success of our Selective Licensing scheme.

Are you passionate about creating safer, cleaner neighbourhoods and making a visible difference where it matters most? Are you interested in contributing to the improvement of areas within the district? Mansfield District Council is looking for a proactive and community-minded Community Protection Officer to join our frontline team working in the Selective Licensing Areas. In this varied role, you’ll be out in the selective licensing areas tackling environmental crime and low-level anti-social behaviour, supporting enforcement activity, and working closely with residents and partners to improve quality of life across the district and ensuring the aims of selective licensing are being met.

If you’re confident working independently, enjoy problem-solving, and thrive in a role where no two days are the same and have knowledge of selective licensing we’d love to hear from you.

If you would like more information about the post please contact Phil Lord, Private Sector Housing Manager on (01623) 463389.
