Community Projects Manager

Fixed Term Contract to 31st March 2027 with the opportunity to extend for a further year subject to Arts Council England funding.

We are recruiting a Community Projects Manager to oversee the successful delivery of participatory arts projects and activities with community groups across Newark and Sherwood. If you are an experienced arts project manager, passionate about partnership working, and care deeply about communities, the Open Doors team want to hear from you.

You will be responsible for co-ordinating and monitoring projects, including robust budget management. The ideal person for this role will have demonstrable experience of managing creative projects from inception to delivery in a co-created, participatory environment. You will have a proven track record of delivering funded projects, including comprehensive monitoring and evaluation. You will be a brilliant communicator and collaborator, experienced at working flexibly across multi-stranded projects.

Open Doors is part of Heritage and Culture services at Newark and Sherwood District Council and is a National Portfolio Organisation funded by Arts Council England.
