Job Summary:

The purpose of the Community Hub Representative role is to provide Customer Service support via telephony and also face-to-face basis for residents of Blaenau Gwent within the Community Hubs based within Libraries across the borough.

The role is responsible for providing up to date information on a wide range of Council services and resolve residents’ queries at first point of contact, supporting the Council, its wider service users and partners in providing a front door provision for residents.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Community Hubs Service for a highly organised, enthusiastic and confident individual who is able to rise to the challenge of delivering exceptional Customer Service delivery whether that is in a telephone setting or a face-to-face environment.

The ability to work independently and as a part of a team, using own initiative with a confident and positive attitude towards working with all residents, partners and stakeholders.

Experience of working within a Customer Service environment and dealing with a wide range of duties is essential.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. A comprehensive

pre-employment screening process will be undertaken which will include Standard Disclosure

Access to a vehicle for work purposes is a requirement of the role.
