Communications Officer

We’re looking for a creative and experienced Communications Officer to join our communications, marketing and design team, working at the heart of Bolsover District Council and our communities.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will help plan, deliver and monitor communications and marketing campaigns across, print, digital and social media as well as working to enhance the reputation of the organisation. You must be able to write, edit and proof copy, work to tight deadlines and work on your own initiative.

We’re looking for someone creative, enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a real passion for excellence in media, PR and marketing. As part of this team you will be responsible for communicating and marketing that promotes the Council, the District and our communities.

Bolsover District Council provides a wide range of services for people who live, visit or do business in our District. They include leisure, economic development, planning, housing, waste disposal and recycling, tourism and partnerships.
