    Are you passionate about education and eager to inspire young minds?

    We are looking for a motivated and adaptable individual to join our team as a Cover Supervisor.

    In this pivotal role, you will support teaching and learning across the school, ensuring pupils stay engaged, motivated, and on track to achieve their full potential.

    What you’ll be doing:

    -Supervise whole classes during teacher absence, ensuring work set is completed

    -Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers

    -Respond to pupil queries and support lesson delivery

    -Maintain a positive and constructive learning environment

    -Support pupils’ emotional and social development, reporting concerns as needed

    -Assist teachers with classroom activities and academic interventions

    -Collaborate with the Behaviour Team to implement strategies and interventions

    What we’re looking for:

    -GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Functional Skills Level 2

    -A Level or equivalent Level 3 qualification, ideally with specialist skills or training in a curriculum area

    -Strong ICT skills with the ability to use technology to support learning

    -Knowledge and experience of inclusive education, behaviour management, and supporting pupils with SEN

    -Understanding of child development and safeguarding principles

    -Excellent communication and organisational skills

    -Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

    -Ability to drive and hold a valid driving licence

    Opened in 2014, Arc School Ansley is an independent specialist day school in Ansley, a lovely small village.

    Our experienced team is dedicated to providing outstanding education to children and young people a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition, who may have many associated needs such as; social, emotional and mental health needs, communication needs and cognition and learning needs.

    Arc School Ansley is part of Kedleston Group. We specialise in providing specialist education and care for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). These include autistic spectrum condition (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
