What is the job role?We are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team from September 2026.
You will teach pupils with complex needs, including Autism, sensory differences and potentially PMLD, delivering engaging and personalised learning experiences that enable every child to succeed. We welcome teachers who bring creativity, innovation and high expectations to their classroom practice.
A good understanding of Early Years principles is beneficial, as these approaches underpin teaching and learning across our school.

Has experience of planning, assessing and adapting learning for pupils with diverse needs
Understands effective behaviour support strategies
Is committed to safeguarding and continuous professional development
Experience in a special school setting, knowledge of Autism, and training in Team Teach or positive handling would be advantageous but are not essential.

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS, all relevant safeguarding and pre-employment clearances, and the receipt of two satisfactory references.

- £32,916 - £51,048 per year
